In the last post I described a method for speeding up the Rufus page object gem by parsing page source data rather than making extra calls to the Selenium::WebDriver. While those changes did speed things up, it just didn’t seem fast enough. Just a few months ago I had seen Frank run through cucumber tests with blazing speed. In the past year, I’ve really grown to appriciate testing an Android application using Robolectric. Looking at iOS, I would be satisfied to use the same technology on that platform. But alas there is not Roblectric for iOS. Enter Kiwi.
